ITG has successfully completed scanning projects and microfilm conversion projects for many of the California counties, as well as for commercial clients. These projects vary from only a few thousand pages to more than 1 million pages. ITG's staff will pick up the documents to be scanned, prepare the documents for scanning, and then scan the documents on high speed scanners. The scanned images are converted into standard PDF files. The PDF files are copied onto CDs or uploaded directly to the client's network.

Converting paper files to digital images has many advantages. It makes the documents instantly available to authorized users. It protects the documents from loss or theft and from damage by heat or dampness. It reduces the amount of paper that needs to be stored. It can reduce or even eliminate the cost of off-site storage. It significantly increases the security of the documents.
